Which trail leads to Sniezka?
- Black Trail – the shortest route to Śnieżka – takes approx. 3h on foot. It starts right by Green Mountain Hotel. This is the steepest trail.
- Red Trail – part of the Main Sudetes Trail – starts on Olimpijska Street in Karpacz. Along the way, it passes scenic Karkonosze sites: Łomniczka Waterfall, Łomniczka Stream, the Symbolic Cemetery of Mountain Victims, and two mountain shelters – PTTK Nad Łomniczką Shelter and Dom Śląski.
Which trail leads to Sniezka?
- Blue trail - Wang Church, Mały Staw, and 3 mountain huts! The trail's variety and scenic views make up for its high popularity.
- Yellow trail - the most beautiful route to Śnieżka - starts at the Wang Temple, passes through Pielgrzymy, Słonecznik, along the border of the glacial cirques of Mały and Wielki Staw.
Sniezka with children
- For parents hiking with children in carriers or toddlers, we recommend the chairlift to Kopa. Children aged 7 and under may ride on an adult’s lap. From Kopa’s summit, Śnieżka is only about a one-hour walk via the black trail or the parallel blue trail (the so-called Jubilee Trail).
- Older children can easily climb Śnieżka via the shortest route—the black trail, starting just by Green Mountain Hotel.
