Karpacz

The dam on the Lomnica River is a unique attraction that is located about 3 km from the Green Mountain Hotel 5*.

It is well worth a visit, as the structure was built between 1910 and 1915 as part of a flood control programme. The dam, created a small reservoir lake from which excess water falls in picturesque cascades.

The crown of the dam is 100 m long and a red hiking trail leads to it. It is a beautiful and atmospheric place worth visiting.
