The Valley of Palaces and Gardens, located in the Jelenia Góra Basin near Karpacz, is a unique place with many architectural monuments, of which the most important are Wojanów Palace, Łomnica Palace, and Karpniki Castle. These buildings, surrounded by extensive parks, are a very important element of the cultural heritage of Lower Silesia.
Wojanów Palace, a monument with a rich history dating back to the seventeenth century, has been carefully restored. Łomnica Palace, equally impressive, immerses visitors in the life of the aristocracy of past centuries. Karpniki Castle, dating from the fourteenth century, is another gem of the region, distinguished by its Gothic architecture and beautiful pond that is part of the former garden.
